Date: 2004-09-28 08:58 pm (UTC)Course, you may with to take this with a fairly sizable block of salt, as I have no idea where my iron is, and the ironing board itself would require excavation, should I need it. Um, and the last time I used my iron it was to do some sort of craft task involving wax paper.

Date: 2004-09-29 06:54 pm (UTC)And my computer is in the laundry room, too. The laundry room is right off the kitchen, it used to be a butler's pantry.
So I was right there...

Date: 2004-09-28 09:10 pm (UTC)(For the record: I use bandanas as head covering on a semi-regular basis, and would have never even considered the possibility that one could iron such a thing.)
Freak. :)

Date: 2004-09-29 06:56 pm (UTC)Of course, with you, it probably doesn't matter if some hair sticks out on the sides. I really try to keep mine COVERED covered. So it won't get in the food.

You win 'freak of the week.'

Date: 2004-09-29 09:26 am (UTC)Hee hee hee. Ok, so I'm a freak.
But the iron makes neat noises (Foosht-heeeeee) and warm cloth smells really nice.

Date: 2004-09-29 12:01 am (UTC)Really.
Granted, I didn't own an iron for about a year. Bought one about a month ago. It's still in the box. Which is now in storage.
Ironing board? What's that? Oh yeah, that thing I dig out when I quilt. Which I haven't done in years. And the last ironing board was left behind in Panama City and has yet to be replaced.
:)
But if the edges of your bandannas curl up, then hell yeah you should iron those puppies into submission. But in the future get ones that don't misbehave after washing.

Date: 2004-09-29 06:58 pm (UTC)I could look for ones that don't, but I seriously doubt I would find them at the dollar store.

Date: 2004-09-29 10:04 am (UTC)Now, if I ironed my bandanas (considering that when I wear them it's in circumstances where I look a complete itinerant spailpín anyhow, and when I don't wear them I'm carrying them as handkerchiefs), that would be freakish :-)

Date: 2004-09-29 12:51 pm (UTC)That being said...um...freak!
(but smashingly good looking in your freakishness!)
Is she a complete freak? A sensible person? She's BOTH!
Date: 2004-09-29 01:20 pm (UTC)The only dangerous thing in ironing bandanas is that one might start to look like a refugee from the early 1980's, and not in that good sense either. But I think there's little danger of that in you. ;-)
Re: Is she a complete freak? A sensible person? She's BOTH!
Date: 2004-09-29 07:07 pm (UTC)It keeps the hair out of the food.
