Finally got back in touch with the contact person at Big Bank.

In addition to the requirements for the I-9 form, they insist on seeing your actual Social Security card. Well. I probably haven't seen mine in a decade. No idea where it is.

Guess where I'm going tomorrow?

At least I can take care of the kiddo's name change thing at the same time.

With luck, there will still be positions open when the new card arrives.

Also to do tomorrow: go to the library to use their computers to order transcripts, because the Geniuses are finally replacing the cable they broke on Toaster LAST time, and it might not be ready tomorrow.

ARGH.
