am I being sensible and tidy, or a complete freak, by ironing the bandanas I use to keep my hair covered at work?

I love wrinkle-free shirts. They're not really wrinkle-free, but enough that a good hanging gets the rest of the wrinkles out. The only thing I iron these days is cloth napkins.

OK, my world just got smaller. I gotta ask - [profile] neilfein, how do you know [personal profile] rikibeth?

Oh, and for the record, I don't think you're a freak, [personal profile] rikibeth. Ironing things so they'll fold right makes perfect sense to me.

I met her at a breakfast-thing Martha held. (Who's not on LJ... yet.) Also, I guess, through [livejournal.com profile] tikvah and [livejournal.com profile] la_directora. You?

Right...now I'm remembering that Martha knows her (and got to see me boggle in my kitchen when she mentioned that in passing).

As for me, I've known [personal profile] rikibeth since sometime 'round 1975 or so. We went to the same shul as kids.

Cloth napkins. Bandanas. Anyone else see the similarity?
