Okay. So I bought my lovely, spiffy Double-H "jump boots," with the police/fire/EMS sole and the zipper down the side and the buckle across the ankle, and they are a joy to behold.

They are not yet a joy to wear.

The right boot is not bad. Kinda stiff, but getting more flex each time I wear it, and not causing me any discomfort.

The left boot is nearly impossible. It doesn't seem to have ANY flex in it across the instep. I can't walk normally with it on. It kinda hurts. Taking it off just now REALLY hurt.

How the hell do I break these things in so that they conform to my FEET and not the other way around?

[livejournal.com profile] juseppi, I'll ask you in person tonight, but anyone else with words of advice would also be welcome.

What material are they? If they are leather.. go puddle-stomping!! :) Let them get soaking wet.. and then wear them for a little bit (not even necc walking around in them). Then, let them dry. :)

This'll really work? This is not just your way of exacting revenge on Shit Faced Girl for making a fool of herself in front of your co-workers?

1) Yes, this does really work.
2) It doesn't really matter to me that you got trashed infront of my co-workers. A lot of ppl get trashed infront of my co-workers on a daily basis.
