I just spent some fun-money sending bandanas and mix CDs out to people on my friendslist. I'm still gonna do that, as much as saving for a new transmission will allow, but after reading THIS I've decided to give where it will make a difference first.

Apparently the government can pay for corporate welfare for multinationals, give the rich a tax cut, and pay for bloated sooper-dooper missile-defense shields that may or may not work - but won't pay for injured soldiers' calls home.

Now THAT'S family values! That's morals!

I was appointed this week to find a good charity for our work area's holiday collection.

I think I found it.
