We went to give him his second dose of antibiotics this evening.

He'd seized again.

I decided to stay with him, on my lap, in the toy room where we'd been keeping him so we could find him to medicate him.

After a while, he started making gasping, coughing breaths, as if he were trying to hack up a hairball.

And he was drooling again.

I called in <lj user="shadowflyer" to see what he thought. He didn't know either. Then Kragar's bladder cut loose. On me. And he went limp. No heartbeat. No breathing. Goodbye, Kragar. You will be missed.

This has not been a good weekend for my friends and their loved ones, has it?

I remember Kragar as a bitty little kitten. It's been painful to see him so ill and fighting so hard, so it's good to know that at least he's out of pain now.

Give Khavren a cuddle for me, and tell him to stay healthy!
