We went to give him his second dose of antibiotics this evening.

He'd seized again.

I decided to stay with him, on my lap, in the toy room where we'd been keeping him so we could find him to medicate him.

After a while, he started making gasping, coughing breaths, as if he were trying to hack up a hairball.

And he was drooling again.

I called in <lj user="shadowflyer" to see what he thought. He didn't know either. Then Kragar's bladder cut loose. On me. And he went limp. No heartbeat. No breathing. Goodbye, Kragar. You will be missed.

He passed on at home, and in your arms, so he knew that he was safe and loved until the end. *hugs* I'm so very sorry for your loss.
