We went to give him his second dose of antibiotics this evening.

He'd seized again.

I decided to stay with him, on my lap, in the toy room where we'd been keeping him so we could find him to medicate him.

After a while, he started making gasping, coughing breaths, as if he were trying to hack up a hairball.

And he was drooling again.

I called in <lj user="shadowflyer" to see what he thought. He didn't know either. Then Kragar's bladder cut loose. On me. And he went limp. No heartbeat. No breathing. Goodbye, Kragar. You will be missed.

Oh, no -- I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a blessing that he was able to spend these last few weeks at home with his family, and to be with you when the end finally came. A safe journey to him, and lots of *hugs* to you.
