In other news, Kragar's paralysis has returned. He's spending his last night on my lap, and tomorrow we're going to take him to be put to sleep. It's not fair to him to cling to hope that's not there and let him starve to death, the poor baby.
They have kittens for adoption at the vet. Some people say "I could never get a new kitten right away." I think I need the insane kitten cuteness to stave off serious depression.

Date: 2004-07-31 02:18 am (UTC)We're currently fostering Alex's (my ex-lover, heh) fiancee's cat on a temp-to-perm basis, and it's amazing just how much I *missed* having a furbaby around the house . . . so, yes, I understand the thought about kittens. You're not at all replacing Kragar or taking away his place in your heart, you're just giving another cat a place in your *lap* and your home, and a chance at a new life with your family . . . which is sweet and generous all around.
