Ravenclaw: 89

Gryffindor: 75

Hufflepuff: 69

Slytherin: 41

And I think the very idea that I wantedf to give essay answers to the questions to explain why in some situations it was Very Characteristic, but in others it was Totally Uncharacteristic, proves the Ravenclaw thing. Would other houses WANT to give essay answers to a sliding-scale question?

Yes, so...

Here. (http://www.personalitylab.org/tests/ccq_hogwarts.htm)

I think it's a lot harder to game that one for the desired answer than most of the Quizilla types.

And I *know* I would have sorted Ravenclaw. I had some very frightening moments of recognition with Luna Lovegood. I mean, sure, the Snape, but I would have been eaten alive in Slytherin, and I was also very much a Luna sort of oddball.

[livejournal.com profile] ataniell93 once said that the difference between a bullied Ravenclaw and a bullied Slytherin is that the Ravenclaw just kinda sucks it up, and the Slytherin figures out how to get even. And it may take long enough to achieve the revenge that the Slytherin's response might look disproportionate.

She cited Columbine, of course.

And of course a number of my favorite fanfic writers advance the notion that Snape came very close to sorting Ravenclaw, himself. (blows kisses to [livejournal.com profile] chaos_rose)

So go take it. I want to see if you do come up Slytherin.

I'm doubting it...I can't see myself as Slytherin IRL. Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, actually -- but everyone *else* seems to put me there...

And I'm right. 68 Hufflepuff, 66 Ravenclaw, 64 Gryffindor, 50 Slytherin. I get the feeling the poor sorting hat would have a rough time with me for this one.

And I wound up with Ravenclaw, too, with Hufflepuff in a strong second place.

Makes sense for the both of us, you know.

A close race...

Ravenclaw, by a nose...

Ravenclaw 73
Gryffindor 71
Hufflepuff 72
Slytherin 44

Outside of the snakes, I guess the hat woulda put me where-ever I asked... (Then again, were I to ask for Slytherin, it prolly would have done that too... so be careful what you ask for...)

I'm not really sure about my results. They make sense, I suppose. I think the fact that I'm neurotic is what put my Hufflepuff score so high.

Ravenclaw - 80
Hufflepuff - 61
Gryffindor - 55
Slytherin - 55

I guess this isn't surprising:

Ravenclaw 77
Hufflepuff 70
Gryffindor 57
Slytherin 38
