Pixel? What did I do wrong?

I just popped the hood and leaned in with a tape measure. It looks like I need a 42" belt. Got grease all over myself in the process, too, which I suspect does NOT say good things about the engine.

But then when I went to start the car -- it no start.

It turns over. It turns over making a more chugging noise than I'm accustomed to.

But it won't catch.

Help?
