I was informed that, since today was Pi Day, I was required to bake a pie.
When I explained that we didn't have much in the way of pie filling ingredients, and that only one of the three of us actually would EAT blackberry peach pie, and I didn't much want to make a pie I didn't plan to eat, I was informed that I should make custard pie.
Well. We did have a box of graham crackers in the pantry. And eggs, milk, and sugar. I just went ahead and used the Joy of Cooking recipe.
When you use low fat milk, you have to bake it longer than it says.
But we have pie.
