max (at least 20) - I did 40
That's 100! woo! Still knee push-ups, but I'm getting there!
Tomorrow, an exhaustion test again. Which I do with real push-ups. Watch me get bumped down a level.

When you do push-ups on your knees, you're taking your core out of the work and therefore losing some of the benefit. At home, I do mine on the stairs (just watch your face!). The better at them you get, the lower you go down the flight. The more assistance you need with them, the higher up the flight so that your body is at a steeper angle. This way you're still modifying them so they're doable, but you're keeping your core engaged. Counter tops work well, too. :-)

Date: 2009-03-23 09:08 pm (UTC)I perhaps didn't make it clear just how much I HATE exercise for its own sake. Doing the knee push-ups lets me feel like I'm making SOME progress, and keeps me DOING the program. I probably wouldn't do it at ALL if I made it harder right now.
