If you ever want to target muscle groups with your push-ups, I am very familiar with the various forms of the push-up.

Right now I'm doing the ones I'm capable of! What muscle groups am I working with my knee push-ups?

Mostly, pectoralis majoris and triceps. Some lats, a minor amount of abs.

The way to work around the muscle groups is mostly by where you put your hands. Fists vs. flat is neutral. If you can do fists then you have less strain on your wrists, but aside from that the muscle groups are the same.
