I actually accomplished quite a lot on my list yesterday.

Naturally, it's acquired new items today, but that's the nature of the beast.

Unpack rest of my clothes
Unpack at least one box in kitchen
Hang up monkey and Cadbury cocoa girl in kitchen
Bring totes inside
Bring peacock and Shmoo to Jerry's for framing
Take [livejournal.com profile] melovechocolate to get her hair done
Buy lampshade for black & gold lamp
Buy belated birthday card for niece
Assemble audio shelf
Unpack desk top box
Put vintage stereo components on audio shelf on top of desk
Make playlist for gift CD for niece
Clean carpet stains
Fix laundry shelf
Set up laptop
Put rocking chair in back of Volvo to bring it to Maine

Yeah. It looks smaller than yesterday, but I haven's specified just how big a job "unpack kitchen" is.

Still, yesterday's list gives me encouragement.

Now, to work.

You are NOT hanging up that godawful stupid ugly monkey in the kitchen, or anywhere else where I have to see it.

Okay... the monkey is not godawful and ugly... but I still think it's a health hazard and does not belong in the kitchen. If you love your monkey so much, put him in YOUR room.

Maine? Make sure you check out Bar Harbor and Acadia Natl. Park.

Th park has a mountain and a ton of fabulous boulders along the shore and you can jump from one to the other over the shallow water. Or you can just take artsy pictures. They have pereguine falcons and stuff.

I'm not going that far north. My parents have a cottage in Ogunquit and I'm going to be spending a week at the BEACH. The sunny, SANDY beach. And renting a surfboard and taking lessons. And letting my parents feed me lobster and steamers. And baking muffins for them.

My family's been going to Ogunquit since the 1930s. I'm spoiled for anywhere else.
