The whole day ahead of me
May. 16th, 2004 09:58 amYesterday at work was very busy, as I'd been told Saturdays would be. I got in at 8 AM. I think next week I'll make it 7, which should help in getting eveything set up by lunchtime.
Today I only had to do breakfast. Routine. Mix the muffins, bake off the scones, second batch of muffins, brioche and sticky buns... while the last were baking, I had enough time to sharpen all the knives, and mess around with the power adapter for the PC speakers I'd brought in to hook up to the portable CD player, and get it working. This means the kitchen can now handle radio, cassette tapes, AND CDs, so I can listen to just about ANYTHING I want to. Yay!
And I was home by 8:30 AM.
So I really ought to do housework today. Lord knows I have enough of it to do. And I've been spending too much time on fandom lately. I am certain of this after last night's dream... it had a starring role for
ataniell93's Dylan Mulciber. Not that I don't appreciate such dreams, as Dylan is one of the world's own sweeties, and he was being a shining example and offering truly helpful and caring advice to my Severus-self... but when characters from other people's fanfic start showing up in my dreams, maybe it's time to put the crack pipe down.
