Succumbing to temptation

and starting work on a Snape fic, given some encouragement from kind souls like bethbethbeth and neotoma, who didn't dismiss a newbie from already long and involved discussions.

408 words so far, and a useful discussion with Amber buddy tryslora about how Snape differs from Julian, so I can avoid character bleedover.

Probably more tomorrow, but I need time to mull over how the new insights affect the scene.
