Oooh, I saw them at C11. Some bands are good studio bands, some bands are good live bands, this band manages both. Their live show was FANTASTIC and their CD does not disappoint either. Two Rainy thumbs WAY up.

Mentioned this to a_h_scientist last night and he was all over it. And we are here on the 21st. Now I guess we have to 1) get a sitter and 2) get tickets. I haven't been to a show in ages. Crap, I feel old! What am I going to wear??

Don't worry, Steve and Donna are about our age too. There are pictures of him rocking a vintage Buckaroo Banzai T-shirt. :)

I would ask thisside about the venue, but I know the band's audience is pretty gothy. It'd be hard to go wrong in all black. Black jeans and a black tank top, maybe?

And the music's good for dancing, so it wouldn't hurt to wear something you'd like to dance in.

It would help if I knew the contents of your closet!

Yeah, I'm figuring all black would be the thing. I have some pretty cool black boots and probably would pair them with a slinky black mini skirt and probably a colored top, actually (red p'haps?). Of course, I'm now in Oklahoma where I will freeeeeeze.

My closet sucks. I'm starting to finally throw out all the items I bought the first two years out of frakkin college. But most of my purchases have been work friendly stuff (because, for too long, I was working at home, where I didn't have to actually wear clothes).

a_h_scientist says I'd be hot as a goth. We'll see.
