Now it's your turn

I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal, if you feel like it.

Kevin and I knew what we would name a daughter before we ever conceived a child. We argued over a boy's name the entire time of my first pregnancy.

We almost chose Devon as a boy's name until we realized it sounded like we'd combined Deb+Kevin.

Kevin told me I couldn't pick name the children after roleplaying characters. Both children ended up with names that were the same as characters. In one case, someone later named a character after my daughter!

I know another couple named Deb and Kevin whose son is actually named Devon.

Wow... weird...

I was really disappointed not to get to use the name (and since my cousins combined Nathan and Lysa to get Naylee for their daughter born a month before Ryan I *really* just couldn't go there).

Although Devon would've been another roleplaying character name.
