I love watching teenagers react to melovechocolate's hair.

"Hey, nice blue streaks! Are they temporary?"

"No, they're Manic Panic."

"How come you streaked your hair?"

"Well, I did it for Warped Tour, and then I wanted to keep it."

"You went to Warped Tour? Lucky!"

"Yeah, my mom took me."

(looking at me) "You went to Warped Tour? Did you like it?"

Which is my cue to point to all the band pins on my jacket and purse, and start talking bands with, say, the boy on the JCC staff who's watching the playscape where melovechocolate is climbing around with a bunch of toddlers because she STILL has energy to burn after her tae kwon do class.

Hee! Kid Two's hair is currently blue-black (really, really black) cos he wanted that for halloween, and the temp stuff woudn't take on his bleach.

Both the hub and the Kid One are all o.O but I'm like, dude, for one thing, it will grow out... He wants to add blue streaks, which I'm not sure I know how to do over dyed black. I mean, I could strip streaks and then make them blue, I suppose... hm. Or I could (gasp) google the topic.

Strip streaks and then Manic Panic them is how I got my Vampire Red in over my dyed black. andrianna did it with Kaleidocolors blue bleach and 40 volume peroxide on my hair, but I am considering next time using an actual dye remover.

I bet it looks adorable.

After our conversation this/yesterday morning about how very deeply a certain action upset me and why, I'd have thought you'd have altered it. I'm trying extremely hard not to jump to negative conclusions. Communication would make that easier.
