Floor Guy was actually Kirby Salesman Guy.

He was a sensible sales guy, and was a very good sport about doing my entry and stairs even though I told him straight off that I was 14 grand in debt and not about to upgrade or trade in any time soon, and didn't push doing the whole sales spiel.

Of course, at the end, when he called in to his manager, I had to explain with some firmness to the manager that no, I was NOT trading in my 20-year-old Heritage II model for a new one, no matter HOW cheap it was after trade-in.

I did take the sales guy's card, and wrote down the prices of the ZippBrush (wonderful tool, but I dropped mine and the housing broke) and the Turbo Sander kit, and I'm certainly going to call him and let him get some commission once I can afford the accesory packs. He was a nice guy, and he did polish my floor for me.

Now I just have to move all the furniture BACK!

I hated that. I felt totally taken. =(

But, at least, I stuck to not buying anything.
