Job hunting

Not going to post about 9/11 anniversary, either. Can't do jack about it, have to concentrate on fixing my own life.

Decent options in the paper. Not going to apply for anything that says line cook, because that's not my skill set and I wouldn't last long. But Garden of Light natural foods store wants bakers, and Luna Pizza wants pizza makers, and Cosi, and there's an ad for a deli, and a couple of restaurants where it looks like there might be prep cook positions. I could do those.

Assuming my hand ever stops feeling numb.

Selfishly, I'd love it if you ended up at Garden of Light, since it's so close to me and since you have such allergy-safe clue. However, I've heard that it can be a difficult place to work, and the turnover there for other jobs is pretty high. Obviously, YMMV.

Garden of Light would be neat, though like Z said, there seems to be a new person there everytime I visit. However, they do seem to be always expanding their line (I saw a gluten free cheesecake in their bakery section today) so it could be fun.

How are you on the patisserie front? That's very intensive, but that tend to pay a bit more than breads baking.

That would assume there's patisserie jobs locally. Not so much.
