I'm employed again!
First and Last Bakery, down in the South End. Pastry person -- baking off the croissants and Danishes, mixing up the dough starters for the artisan breads, and maybe scooping out cookies and muffins. Hours 2AM to 10AM, or thereabouts, which is really MUCH more manageable -- sleep from 11AM to 4PM, be awake when kid gets home from school and everyone is home for dinner, still be able to go out and be social in the evenings. Pay a little better than what I was making before. Benefits after 6 months.
I am going to cancel the second interview for the corporate cafeteria job, because now the hours won't work for me to do both, and honestly? Between artisan breads and boring cafeteria food? Bread wins.
And,
shadowflyer told me at dinner -- we have tickets for the Serenity sneak preview on the 26th.
I win!
