Boots, again

juseppi said that I was not imagining things. The left and right boots were made from different hides, and the left one was a lot stiffer. And I should not wear them at all until I condition them more.

He suggested neats-foot oil.

Just like I used on my baseball glove, when I was nine or ten.

Sorry to hear--that's very annoying.

Neatsfoot oil is lovely stuff, isn't it?

I used some on the leather uppers of my duckboots at the start of the winter, and realised that I've got to find more excuses to use it--the smell brings back pleasant childhood memories :-)

What I really need is an excuse to have horses--maybe if gasoline shoots up through the roof and the post office decides to revive the Pony Express I could get a position :-)
