Sick

Don't know what.

Achy and queasy but food stays down, chills but no fever, and no respiratory symptoms, but dizziness and some sensation of blockage in the ears.

I knew it was bad when I couldn't face loud fast music at work today. Saturday, I was blasting "Lust for Life" at 5:30 AM, which almost replaces caffeine; today, it was the Immortal Beloved mix, the Cure, and Sarah MacLachlan.

Two doses of Excedrin failed to touch the headache.

It was bad enough that I called shadowflyer to take the bus into the center so he could drive me home -- I did not feel well enough to drive.

I slept most of the afternoon.

This officially sucks.

gem225, I got your mix CDs today. Apart from my surprise at no "Dirty Water" on the Red Sox victory mix, they look terrific, and if I can bear sound tomorrow I'll give them a listen -- thanks.

I'm going to read through my friendslist and go back to bed.
