I was deliberately staying away from most of the obvious Snape answers, just because that was too easy.

Of course I love Alan Rickman. And I almost love Snape. The only thing I'd change would be to encourage him to wash his hair more often. :)

Hmph.

One of the major ways that you can tell that Snape's a shadow and not Julian in disguise is the hair thing.

Julian's actually pretty finicky about grooming. People don't notice, because after all they expect clean hair -- and his clothes are pretty much the opposite of flashy, so most people get distracted by Bleys and never pick up on the subtle details.

Oh, and the soap he uses smells of vervain.

Well, his hair looks like it needs washing in his trump. :P

And it's not Bleys that's always distracting. More often than not it's Corwin droning on and on and on and on. Usually about himself.
