Okay, so I should have done this Friday, but I blew it off. However, my cough is much diminished, so here I am back on the program.

Rikki, as you may know, two months ago I joined I joined a gym that had just opened up in my neck of the woods. To date, my accomplishments include the following:

- I've gone from 30 minutes on the treadmill at 2.5 MPH to a full hour at 3.5;
- On the abdominal machine, I've doubled my reps from 25 to 50, and doubled the weight I'm pressing from 50 to 100 pounds; and
- I'm 13 pounds lighter!

What I'm trying to say is: if you're working toward 100 push-ups, by all means keep it up! Eventually, you'll get there.

Have you seen the Hundred Pushups Challenge (http://hundredpushups.com/)? That's the program I'm following. I'm actually VERY encouraged by how it's going, and that I'm able to complete the prescribed number each day so far! I expect that if I stick with it, I'll make the 100 pushups in the six weeks they say.

The other thing I like about it is that it's free and I don't have to leave the house.
