Gothercise playlist, and a photo

I warn you, you're going to laugh at some of my music choices. This is not exactly the world's gothiest playlist. But I've been listening to Danger Days a lot lately, and I wanted to include that in this morning's workout. So:

Planetary (GO!) My Chemical Romance

I'll note that "Summertime" wasn't really the one I meant to put on there. "Summertime" is the one that starts with a riff that reminds me of the Smashing Pumpkins' "1979." I think I meant to put "Party Poison" on there. But whatever. I kept moving. As for the Lady Gaga? I make no apologies. If it's good enough for Chris Ewen, it's good enough for me.

And this is my Gothercise outfit:




The skating dress is because I dance a lot better in a skirt than in plain sweats or tights. And the boots are my beloved patent leather Pennangalan Libby Magic sole boots with the plates on the buckle straps.

Now it's time for a shower.

LOVE the boots. But seriously, they are comfortable? Like you can dance and bounce and whatever in them? Because I would sooo love something like that for dancing, which I never do, but so WOULD if I had cool shoes like that.

And, as everyone else has said, you are hot.

I will freely admit they took some breaking in! Also, while I can dance in them for extended periods, I do NOT recommend walking any significant distance! OR driving, because the plate rubs against the instep on your accelerator foot and is acutely uncomfortable. In my green skirt icon? I'm wearing those boots, and it's at a club two hours drive from me -- I drove up there in Vans slip-ons, and put on the boots right before I went in the door.

Part of the rationale for exercising in them is to keep them broken in and flexible.
