Did a drive-around in my assigned neighborhood today. Very few surprises. Noted one street blocked to through traffic, could be done easily enough on foot. Very few multi-unit buildings; a few patches of condos, a couple of main thoroughfares forming the edges of my area that have multi-unit buildings, but mostly single-family homes, duplexes, and a few three-families. I hope this means it'll be easy.

Tomorrow I get trained in collecting fingerprints.

Everyone who works for the census needs to have a background check done, so I'm going to have to help collect them from my crew members. And, naturally, we're doing it the old way, with ink and ten-print cards, instead of nice biometric scanners.

Got fingerprinted at the Census Office today. The two ladies doing them just got trained and we were the first people they did for serious.

I am doing a clerk gig in QA in upstate New York.
