rikibethbecause it means I don't have to go out in the pouring rain today.
In other news, the furnace is working properly again, and no more evil black smoke should be issuing from the chimney. We had no idea. It was a little unnerving to have the fire department pull up yesterday and ask if everything was all right! We said "We don't THINK we're on fire, but go ahead and check the furnace." They did, and advised us to call the oil company service department right away. So we did. The guy came out very quickly (amazing what saying "The fire department told us to call you" does), replaced a nozzle, wrote something on the slip about "Fresh Air Kit," and now WE HAVE MORE THAN TWO MINUTES OF HOT WATER AGAIN. Hooray!
