I've been grinding my beans at the store, so I haven't especially missed it. On the other hand, you might consider it useful to have a coffee grinder and a grinder that's never touched coffee for nuts and the like....
As for melovechocolate, she's developed a liking for iced coffee as well - though that does involve a hit of caramel flavoring. :-P
