Would the person on my friendslist who posted content from Youtube please either delete the entry or put it under a cut or something? It's breaking my friends page.
That sounds like a problem you're going to have to get under control on your end. I end up with about 10 embedded youtube videos on my friends page per day, on average, and never have breakage.
in user control prefs, much like "image placeholders", there's a "video placeholder", that shows a nice innocuous box. check that, and you're good to go.
also, if you're using mozilla/firefox... perhaps install "noscript", it's a great plugin, that basically stops all script and nonsense by default, and you enable them when you want. your terms, not theirs. stops all kinda of antics. making browsing faster and pleasant i find.
