Electronics Recycling Day

So I noticed in the paper on Thursday that today the trash authority was having an electronics recycling day today from 9-1.

I said to myself, I said, "Self, we oughta DO this."

So this morning we loaded up eternaleponine's car.

Want to know what we had?

3 monitors

4 CPUs

At least 5 keyboards

2 printers

A fax machine

and a partridge in a pear tree. (Okay, not really.)

One of the CPUs had a sticker on it from the place where my dad worked before he retired.

Wow, it's nice to have all that crap out of the house!

And I even saved Ludo (the old G3, there's an 80GB hard drive on it that's probably still good), Ludo's associated keyboard, and one elderly IBM keyboard that I'd like to make a steampunk keyboard out of someday.

They even unloaded the car for us.

Go me!
