on march 7th, Haven presents "Dracula's Bowl"! Diva's will be closed for the Motley Crue concert afterparty, so we're going Disco Bowling in the darkest of ways - the Haven dj's will be spinning from 9p - 12a at the Northampton Bowl (across the street from Diva's, 525 Pleasant Street)! it's an ALL AGES event (21+ bar), with NO COVER charge... and they're giving us "the deal" on the lanes, it's only $1.25 per game! please note this is only from 9 until midnight!!! (we know, it's way too early...)

matociquala, I propose we shift our primp time earlier, to about 7:15, because for this one we might actually want to show up near the start time.

As mhaille said, how can you pass up the chance to watch everyone unlace their 6" platform boots and put on the bowling shoes? And see spooky capes get caught in the ball return?

Who all else is going? krissydorn, do you want to carpool? madraxus and garren_fa_liss, will I see you there? marmota, can you catch a ride out there? jetshade, it's a Moral Imperative, with or without talandra. endlessautumn, you're not skipping a week just 'cause it's bowling, are you?

I promised matociquala I'd bowl in a corset if she'd lace me into it.

Very belated thank you, and an introduction

So the crappy $20-at-Big-Lots CD boombox I got for long car trips because the cassette player in my car radio is dying and will no longer play anything from the Discman-with-adapter... anyway, the cheap brute force solution for road tunes turns out to read home-ripped CDs just fine when the actual Sony Discman was iffy about it.

So I finally got to listen to the CD that sociofemme made for me, with hugs and puppies!

I love it! Even the Good Charlotte that I probably shouldn't admit to liking or else lose all my cool points. But "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" so neatly sums up how I felt about yuppie customers...

Was the James Taylor live track a commercially available one or did you take it from the soundboard this summer? ;)
