No actual zippers on this pair, but skinny ankle-length jeans have been showing up in catalogs for a good 6 months now.

The other day I had to walk a fair distance in the med center, and it was rainy - so I put on sandals and rolled my jeans up to lower-calf height. I looked perfectly 80's, and then the young, fashionable doctor at my meeting complemented me on it... sigh.
