rikibethThat summons I got for driving with a suspended license and following too closely? All taken care of. No ticket, no fine, no nothing. I just showed up and let them see the restoration notice that said the license was fine as of 8/17/05 -- it should never have BEEN suspended, the DMV just failed to tick a box or something when I returned the plates that had lapsed because of the lack of insurance on the Volvo at the time -- and they said "you're all set." Didn't even have to go into it about the brake repair.
The REALLY cool thing is that I'd baked off enough small cookies yesterday to have put out all but one catering order before I even left. So when I got back, all I had to do was bake off a dozen cookies, assemble one platter, make a batch of coffee cake dough, and do my muffin prep.
It's nice to have things under control.
