So I was poking around the Rathkeltair website, since I realized I hadn't seen them in a while -- I went home sick with a sinus headache and a bad reaction to DayQuil from the Pipes in the Valley festival in October which was the last time they were playing locally. Wanted to see if there were any shows coming up soon. It looked kind of sparse, and Collier wasn't in the lineup any more. WTF?

Neil's website, http://www.antipypr.com, had the story:

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Neil has been recalled to active duty with the Army, commencing April 7, 2006. Consequently, he will be unable to perform any scheduled dates after March of this year. HOWEVER, Rathkeltair WILL be appearing as scheduled. Neil will be back sometime around August of 2007. More details soon.

Come see Rathkeltair with Neil and Special Guest Victor Gagnon on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17th, at Lynch's Irish Pub in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This will also be the official CD Release Party for Rathkeltair's first studio album, "Everybody." See you there!
