Braving the elements

There's a lull in the actual snow coming down, so I'm off to CVS to get a Sunday paper and probably an outrageous amount of snack food.
Since
melovechocolate said the snow was knee-high on her, I decided that 20-eye Docs and the cargo pants zipped off to shorts were probably the most practical gear I owned for this expedition. (Leggings under the shorts. I am not an idiot. I just don't want to get my cuffs all soggy.)
And I'm saving my shower for when I get back, because 1) I don't want to go out with a wet head and 2) I figure I'll need it to warm up.
If it's still not-snowing on the way back, I may try the first pass of shoveling. Bleah.
