Morning, chez Goth

6:30 AM. Once again, I haven't set up the coffee on its timer (when I tried to, it didn't work, so I haven't been doing it) so I set a fresh pot brewing. I went to the grocery store on Monday, so there's half and half for it, yay.

Of course, it's still brewing when Libby gets upstairs, so she grabs a Diet Rockstar instead. Because I remembered to buy a 4-pack when I was at the grocery store. She goes through those. I have no idea how she manages, but she looked at me funny for drinking tomato juice with hot sauce in it, so to each their own.

Bri's awake and coherent. The costumes and props that I'm loaning her for her drama class performance are already packed in the overnight case, so no worries there. Lace dress and underslip, linen sailor blouse, granny boots, little evening purse, teapot and cups... the straw hat won't fit in with everything else, but it's right there. She really ought to have spent more time memorizing her LINES, but at least she and Gillian will LOOK right for the scene. She's retrieved the pyramid-studded belt I borrowed from her last night to wear to Haven, so we're good.

Lunch for the kids. Juicy Juice Berry, carrots, cracker snacks, Pirates of the Carribean fruit snacks (hey, they were on sale for $1 a box, and so were Hello Kitty fruit snacks, but I don't dare suggest that little boys eat Hello Kitty snacks, but, cherrybutterfly, you might want to go to Shaw's), PBJ on whole wheat again for Liam, and to give melovechocolate some variety, I fix up a couple of falafel patties and tuck them into a whole wheat pita. Liam's Spider-Man nylon lunchbox has not yet come in from the car, so it's in a brown paper bag again; melovechocolate's gets tucked into her pink-and-black Happy Bunny metal lunchbox.

Bri's out the door. I tell her "break a leg" and then have to explain that I AM wishing her good luck with that!

Devin needs socks. I ran a load of kid clothes last night before I left for Haven, so there should be socks in the dryer, right? No. They're wet in a basket because there was some sort of clothing emergency and they got bumped in favor of work clothes for Libby... okay. Kid clothes back in dryer, and I offer Devin a choice of purple tombstones or black ghosts. Black ghosts it is, and that problem fixed. "Give them back to me when you get home so I can put them in MY laundry basket."

More kid clothes in the washer, while I'm down there; I notice the folded towels and remind myself that I want to haul the not-linens out of the linen closet upstairs today and reorganize them so maybe there'll actually be room for linens.

Yup, just another morning.

hey! good to hear from you! Of course I'm interested in plans but it's going to be tough for a while because I have to move AGAIN, and get the house on the market, and find a JOB, and all that fun stuff.

I'll check out the music link when I'm back at my old house and on DSL rather than dialup.
