[livejournal.com profile] grey_and_purple is right, the questions were largely awful -- I found myself wanting to go "both!" or "neither!" or "it's not that simple, dammit!" on most of 'em. Nevertheless, I suspect my placement's reasonably accurate.

I can't get past the second question -

2. Immigration policies:
Should be less strict. Immigrants enhance this country.
Should be more strict. Too many people enter illegally.

Duh. Making 'policies' more strict will not affect how the current laws are or are not enforced.

Poorly written, at best. I can't be bothered to look at my results after looking at that one.

Ghod, that quiz sucks. I suspect it would think I was very liberal, when in fact, the liberal answers on it are simply marginally less fucked up than the conservative ones.

Tells me more about the quiz writer than the quiz takers.

As a part-time political wonk, I have to point out that "strict policies" would include enforcement of current laws; it would not necessarily require new laws to be passed.

Besides, we're all immigrants in the Americas (including those who hoofed it in from Siberia before the last big Ice Age even got started). An anti-immigration policy is rank hypocrisy here. It's simply a bad idea everywhere else in the world. (One could also argue that all homo sapiens on the Eurasian and Australian continents are also immigrants.)

"they can afforded"??

I refuse to participate in a quiz with such an egregious grammatical error. I can't even count this as a spelling error, because it looks like a sounding out problem. Feh.

You don't have to hit me over the hit with your political clue-by-four, thank you very.

As stated by previous commentors, there are many grammatical errors and, like you said, it's too black and white. While there shouldn't be as many illegal immigrants, there isn't anything wrong with immigrants. Shit like that happened in WW2 when people were trying to escape to the Americas and the United States turned them away. Just not right. This quiz just gives you a vague idea of your political views, which I did like.
