Rest in peace, Kragar.
Aug. 28th, 2004 10:15 pmWe went to give him his second dose of antibiotics this evening.
He'd seized again.
I decided to stay with him, on my lap, in the toy room where we'd been keeping him so we could find him to medicate him.
After a while, he started making gasping, coughing breaths, as if he were trying to hack up a hairball.
And he was drooling again.
I called in <lj user="shadowflyer" to see what he thought. He didn't know either. Then Kragar's bladder cut loose. On me. And he went limp. No heartbeat. No breathing. Goodbye, Kragar. You will be missed.
awwww ((hugs))
Date: 2004-08-28 08:18 pm (UTC)(((hugs))) It is so hard to lose such a cherished member of the family - I well know the pain.
I hope there is some small comfort to you that he chose his place of death, and that it was with you. I know that would give me a small comfort while mourning the huge loss.
