I *have* engaged in amorous activity in a hammock; *dis*engaging was much more difficult than initially engaging had been, which may have been due to how tired my lower back was after generating all that motion for two people. I suppose it might be different if I could hit the harmonic frequency of the hammock, but that one seemed to have a period of about 2.5 seconds, which was unsuitable for a number of reasons.
