...roll of plastic? No, the window shrink wrap comes in sheets.

But not only are the living room and my bedroom windows shrink wrapped, I WASHED the windows before I put the plastic on -- I even used the tilt-down feature to wash the outside of the bottom sashes. AND I washed my bedroom curtains, because, well, I had to take them down anyway, right? And I vacuumed the living room, and I baked a banana bread, and I made a dentist appointment for tomorrow.

I am mighty!

Go you! Huzzah on appointment making!

(And window washing, and things. But some of those things look like things I might do to avoid doing the appointment-making, so.)

Tomorrow I need to go to the bank.

Mighty and virtuous.

And also with the awesome icon. May I ask by whom the icon was made, and whether it is snrchable?

I do not know who assembled the icon from Allie Brosh's hilarious webcomic, for I fear I snrched it myself after asking, and the person from whom I snrched it didn't supply a credit. However, I have no objection to sharing the love.

Your might almost scares me.
Good for you!

Mhhh, it would be a really good idea to do that with my windows, I think.

My first place in Providence had very bad windows. (One of them blew out in a windstorm, sash and all, leaving just a rectangular hole. I remounted it, driving old cassettes into the gaps to keep it in place. The landlord never fixed them while I lived there.) It was a third-floor walk-up, and quite drafty. So, my roomie and I shrink-wrapped the windows come wintertime.

The wrap we got said, "Clear as glass!" in big friendly letters. All winter, we kept saying, "I can't believe it's not glass!" We put a sticky note on it in the kitchen, saying, "NOT glass!" Sometimes, we'd pretend to reach for the window and 'accidentally' hit the 'invisible' barrier, gasping, "I thought it was glass!" We left a few pencils and other objects in the windows, to see if anyone would reach for them, but no one was fooled.
