Thoughts, prayers, ANY good mojo you've got to spare

I just read on angeldess' journal that mtfierce is in the hospital. Pre-eclampsia. And the baby WILL be born "within 48 hours" as of 11:37 PM last night (Mountain time, I think).

mtfierce was just starting her third trimester, IIRC.

Please, please, if you have any energy to spare, send it her way. She's been one of my best net-friends since 1998 or so. I would really like to meet her AND her (healthy, thriving) baby in person someday.

Ack. I'm sorry. I don't know if you've been on my flist to see all the wibbling from December onward about my colleague and her 30-week baby who was oh so very ill but survived and is doing great, but I so know how hard it is to be a friend of someone going through it. And, I had a 33 week eclampsia thing 8 years ago, so I know from that side, too.

If they have 48 hours, they likely are trying to cause the baby's lungs to develop faster. That's good, and something they weren't able to do nearly so well ten years ago. Hope they have time to manage that.
