I think it went well. I hope it went well. They have some other candidates besides me, but I hope I made a good impression. I made sandwiches and prepped pizzas. They're looking for someone to start after Labor Day. I would love to do that.

After I send the thank-you email, the only thing left to do is my traditional getting-hired prayer -- otherwise known as "I Hope I Get It" from A Chorus Line on constant mental repeat.

I never had that one on vinyl, as it happens. Although there's an indelible DENT in the vinyl London Les Mis, because that's what happens when you get a friend to bring it home from London in his suitcase because it's not out in the US yet.

I can always find SOMETHING where I think I blew it, but it mostly concentrates on the first verse and chorus.

(I could have sworn we rescued my sister's abandoned vinyl from my parents' house, which would have left it with you. But it's possible I misremember.)

The question is not if you blew it (that will always happen) but how did you respond? I suspect it's more likely that's what they're looking for (how you deal with the pressure).
