Friendslist migration

I have set up journals under the same name at Greatestjournal and Insanejournal.

If anyone can suggest a Macintosh client that will post to multiple journals at the same time, I'll be posting duplicates across the board.

I don't plan to stop posting here, but I don't want to lose track of any of my friendslist who choose to migrate.

If you're planning on migrating AND not remaining on LJ as well, please drop me a comment here?

I really thought that after the post-Strikeout restorations, LJ was going to remain on the side of free speech. Clearly, I was wrong. Bastards.

iJournal won't post to multiple journals at the same time, but it will post to any lj-compatible client. I love Xjournal and wish it had the same features.

I've looked for a mac client that post to all journals at once, but alas I can't find one. >_< Hopefully someone is writing something now?

The most thoughtful analysis I;ve seen so far has been at icarusancalion's journal. In a nutshell, they are revoking accounts for "obscene" content, NOT providing a consistent definition of obscenity, changing their TOS without notice and doing things like revoke-first-change-TOS-after, and while they claim that their overarching concern is about preventing harm to others and not encouraging content that advocates harm, they're taking down erotic fan art that a) in no way meets the definition of "child pornography" and b) hello is FICTIONAL, while actively allowing pro-anorexia communities to stay active, with the lamest justification for that I've ever heard.

It all depends whether someone reports it, and whether the people who read the reports decide it's "obscene." Nudity alone might not do it, but sexual situations can.

You can shell out for a paid account if you desperately want to be on JF. It's a small service, though (something like 11,000 accounts total), so if you're not part of the *_wank communities or in one of the RPGs, you're unlikely to meet anyone.
