Hah, he likes German rage rock? He should try Terrorfakt and Stromkern. Terrorfakt bills itself as "powernoise" and they ARE NOT KIDDING because they use a METAL GRINDER making sparks everywhere as part of their live performance. (I also didn't really think it sounded much like MUSIC, and I thought Street Drum Corps got better sounds out of THEIR metal grinder, but eh, if he likes something that sounds like Rammstein he might like this too.) Stromkern is, well, angry oontzy stuff.
I saw both of them last night when I went out to socialize at the Blacksun Festival. Really I could have done without either of them and had them cut straight to Voltaire (ah sweet goofy sarcastic man) but I can see how a track or two on the dance floor would work. IF there's enough REALLY GOOD STUFF like the Cruxshadows and Sisters of Mercy and Covenant and SIOUXSIE AND FAT BOB DAMMIT played around it.
