perhaps I can keep this going
Sep. 8th, 2008 02:58 pmThere is nothing left on my to-do list for today except making dinner and practicing Rock Band.
Mind you, there are plenty of things I COULD do. I'm not yet on top of the laundry, and since I did four loads of it yesterday before the basement floor had dried out from Hanna, there are muddy footprints all over my kitchen floor, so I could wash it, if I really wanted to. The bathtub needs cleaning. I have to decide if I'm going to sacrifice my hair streaks to job-hunting and dye over them black, or if I'm just going to lay on the dark purple and hope that's subtle enough against the black to not freak people out.
But I've gotten the kid off to school with breakfast and lunch, done day 1 of the 100 push-ups program, picked up the living room somewhat and vacuumed it, decluttered in my bedroom for 15 minutes, cleaned the cat box, done the grocery shopping, dropped off three resumes at local places, did some banking errands, and started some towel laundry.
It's amazing what a difference it makes to have my morning coffee.
