Some observations

Ten hours doesn't seem nearly as long when the boss has a tizzy-free day.

#10 cans of beans make too much salad to sell before it goes stale, but if you use half the can, the other half can go in vegetarian chili.

Bleach fumes wreck your sense of smell for altogether too long.

Mike's Hard Limeade is not sufficiently lime-flavored, but a wedge of fresh lime squeezed in corrects that nicely.

Maureen's hair is so red it looks like it should glow under black light. And it's not a dye job.

If you give the special-sandwich components to Maureen while it's slow, she's perfectly happy to assemble them, which saves a great deal of trouble. And it makes her happy because she can take some of the hummus for herself. Being a fan of Sirius Black and not a fan of Snape is forgiveable, if you like my cooking.

Taking leftovers home can get you out of dinner, if there are corned beef sandwiches involved.

And Gov. Rowland resigned. Good riddance to bad rubbish. And that means I won't have special orders for the impeachment committee any more.

It's been that sort of day.
