Okay, aim for the spot just to the
left
of center then.
As for the hook:
Hold your hand out in front of you, palm up.
Now turn your thumb up until your palm is vertical.
That's it.
Now, with a bowling ball in your hand:
Grip the bowling ball.
Swing your arm back while striding up to the line.
Swing your arm forward, aiming for that left-of-center spot.
As the ball leaves your hand, do that twist as described above.
And hey, if you get the ball to skip over your gutter and into the next lane, all the more fun, right?
